Preparing instructions

Follow these instructions to ensure a smooth digitalization process for your products :

1.  Choose textiles for display

  • Choose the textiles you want to list in the system.
  • Note : 1 color = 1 SKU

Ensure the selected products are in stock. Clients often prefer ordering smaller quantities (like sizing sets) to test materials. Having products readily available increases your chances of securing larger future orders.

2.  Prepare fabric samples

  • 2 meters of every fabric, in every color you want to add.

Tip :

Please refer to the attached 1-pager for detailed instructions on how to properly prepare the samples and avoid any delays.

3.  Cut and label the samples

  • Cut 2 linear meters of each fabric in each colour.
  • Label the back of each fabric with the following details:
    • Product (Greige ID)
    • Product Name (if applicable)
    • Color ID

Fold the fabric with the label on top.

4.  Fill out the form

Fill out the required product information form, which can be found here: Product set-up request form and ensure that the product information on the form matches the information on the 2-meter samples.

5.  Ship the samples to Tengiva

  • Place the labeled samples in a box and ship them to this address:

Attention: Amélie Lamarche

Company: Tengiva

Address: 5524 Saint Patrick St.

Office: #110

City: Montréal

Province: Québec

Postal code: H4E1A8

6.  After shipment

Please send the tracking number along with the filled-out form to help@tengiva.com. This helps us track your submission and ensures a smooth digitalization process.

Please make sure to indicate in the shipment: charge the customs to the expeditor (you).

Additional product information

We only need you to fill out the information in the form, so a total of 8 details per product. However, additional information is always useful. The more we know, the faster we can upload your textiles to the marketplace.

  • Note that this information can also be added at a later stage.

What happens next

Once your samples and form are received, the Tengiva team will begin processing them. This includes professional photography and data upload. The process typically takes up to 2 weeks and is handled in the order that submissions arrive. After your products are digitized, they will be made available in the system and you will be booked for a training session.
