Understanding the Naming
Tengiva = The commercial operating software company
Source Textile = Community name for platforms powered by Tengiva's software
Includes: Source Textile Global Community, specialized communities (Source | Colombia, Brasil Textil, Ecuador Textil, ISPO Textrends), and supplier digital showrooms
Key distinction: Tengiva provides the technology. Source Textile is the community it powers.
Section 1: Core Training (Required for All)
This section applies to both Transaction and SKU Digitalization programs.
Understanding Both Programs
Transaction Affiliate Program
Who you refer: Designers, brands, procurement professionals (buyers)
What they do: Purchase in-stock textiles from verified suppliers
What you earn: 1% commission on in-stock textile purchases where Tengiva processes payment
Earning period: 3 months from buyer's first qualifying purchase
Cookie: 90 days
Example:
Buyer purchases $20,000 in-stock textiles over 3 months → You earn $200
SKU Digitalization Affiliate Program
Who you refer: Textile suppliers, manufacturers
What they do: Digitalize their product catalogs for professional presentation
What you earn: 5% commission on all digitalization purchases
Referral benefit: They save 5% on all purchases
Earning period: 12 months from supplier's first purchase
Cookie: 90 days
Example:
Supplier digitalizes 50 SKUs at $32 = $1,600 → You earn $80
Same supplier adds 200 more SKUs within 6 months → You earn $320 more
Total: $400 from one supplier
You Can Join Both Programs
Many successful affiliates promote both sides:
Connect suppliers with digitalization (improve their catalogs)
Connect buyers to those suppliers (create transactions)
Earn from both sides of the ecosystem

Payment Processing vs. Communication Infrastructure
Critical distinction you must understand:
When Tengiva Processes Payment = Commission Applies
Transaction Program:
✅ In-stock textile purchases (Tengiva handles full payment settlement) → You earn 1%
❌ Production quote requests (buyers contact suppliers directly, Tengiva provides messaging only) → No commission
Why this matters: Tengiva only earns when processing payments. We share that revenue with you. Production quotes use our communication tools, but payment happens directly between buyer and supplier outside our system.
B2B Transaction Details
20-day hold period on all commissions:
Aligns with buyer guarantee period (15 days post-reception)
Ensures commissions paid only on confirmed, accepted transactions
Protects both you and Tengiva from payment reversals
Returns policy:
Cut textiles cannot be returned (like custom or intimate apparel)
Buyers have 15 days to report quality issues
We recommend buyers order samples or 5-meter minimums first
Payment Terms (Both Programs)
Quarterly Payouts
Due to B2B cycles and hold periods, payments are quarterly:
Q1 (Jan-Mar) → Paid by April 30
Q2 (Apr-Jun) → Paid by July 31
Q3 (Jul-Sep) → Paid by October 31
Q4 (Oct-Dec) → Paid by January 31
Payment Methods
PayPal (you pay receiving fees)
Bank transfer (Tengiva pays domestic fees, you pay international intermediary fees)
Minimum Payout
$50 USD minimum per payment
Earnings below minimum carry forward to next quarter.

Cookie Tracking & Attribution
90-Day Cookie Duration
When someone clicks your affiliate link, a 90-day cookie tracks them.
Transaction Program: If they create account and make first purchase within 90 days, you earn for 3 months from first purchase.
SKU Program: If they make first purchase within 90 days, you earn for 12 months from first purchase.
Last-Click Attribution
If someone clicks multiple affiliate links, the most recent click wins.
Example:
Day 1: Clicks Affiliate A's link
Day 30: Clicks Affiliate B's link
Day 35: Makes purchase
Result: Affiliate B earns commission (last click before purchase)
Why last-click? Rewards the affiliate who most recently influenced the purchase decision.
