Tengiva and DMIx Partner to Connect Material Digitization with B2B Sales
New integration takes a supplier’s material from the first scan to the purchase order with one button press.
MONTREAL and COLOGNE, October 22, 2026 – Tengiva, the Commercial Operating System for the textile industry, and DMIx, the first Product Reality Management System (PRMS), developed by ColorDigital GmbH, today announced a technology partnership. Textile suppliers can now publish materials digitized in DMIx to their own Tengiva-powered digital showroom and B2B storefront with one button press.
The problem: great data, stuck in separate tools
Textile suppliers already capture material appearance, color and 3D data. That data usually sits in one system, while quotes, orders and customer relationships run in another. Buyers wait, samples travel, and every sample request adds another courier trip. The partnership connects the step where a material is captured with the step where it is sold.
The solution: one button press
With this partnership, a supplier’s approved materials move from DMIx into their own online shop and complete commercial ecosystem, powered by Tengiva, with one button press. From the first scan to the purchase order, the whole path is connected.
Tengiva brings purchase orders and its Commercial Operating System: digital showrooms, order management, customer relationships and sales channels.
DMIx SamplR captures a physical material as a standardized digital twin: PBR 3D texture, standardized images under four controlled lighting geometries and a behavior video for drape and hand feel.
DMIx MatchBox compares each lab dip against the digital color standard and returns a result against defined tolerances.
In the shop, each material appears with what the supplier selects: PBR materials, standardized automatic renders, videos, classic images or a color-managed color capture from SamplR. Materials in DMIx stay connected to their master data, such as article number and supplier. The integration is built for textile suppliers, for mills and for garment producers that offer full-package services.
Tengiva suppliers can already digitize their materials in other ways. For materials where complex surface, color and transparency matter most, DMIx SamplR adds a new level of precision.
“Photographing thousands of textiles is slow, hard work, and most suppliers simply don’t have the time. With DMIx, a material is scanned in seconds, and through Tengiva’s integration it is ready in the company’s own shop. That gives every salesperson more time to do what they do best: talk to customers and close sales.”
Annie Cyr, CEO & Co-Founder, Tengiva
“Shipping a swatch is the slowest way to start a sale. With DMIx, suppliers show the material straight away, with standardized images, a video of how it moves and a PBR texture, published directly into their own shop, powered by Tengiva. Selling from a screen only works if what the buyer sees is what arrives. That is the job DMIx does in this partnership.”
Gerd Willschütz, Managing Director and Co-Founder, ColorDigital GmbH
